When a man wakes to find a day missing from his life, he suspects something deeper is broken in time—and he may be next to vanish.

It’s Thursday. But I swear yesterday was Tuesday.

Everyone tells me I’m wrong—that Wednesday happened. That I went to work, answered emails, made dinner, even spoke to my sister.

But I don’t remember any of it.

I checked my call logs, messages, calendar. Everything’s filled in like a normal day. But none of it feels real. My mind hits a blank wall between Tuesday night and Thursday morning.

I asked my sister about our conversation. She said I sounded distracted. Kept repeating myself. She told me I said the word “loop” six times in a row.

Then she got scared and hung up.

That night I dreamt I was in a white hallway lined with doors. One of them was open, and behind it was a room filled with clocks—none of them ticking. In the center stood a man in a dark suit, turning a dial slowly. He said, “Your version of Wednesday was incompatible. We had to skip it.”

I woke up sweating. My bed was on the other side of the room. Everything had moved.

I’m scared to fall asleep again.

Because what if Thursday doesn’t end?
